ATA

PASSIVE SKILL : Child of the Sea

His lost Health is buffered for some time. All damage he deals heals him during this time.

The buffered Health disappears over time after a while.

His Basic Attacks deal extra damage.

SKILL 1 : Wave Walking (Damage Crowd Control)

Leaps up and slams the ground twice, damaging enemies each time.

The second slam also launches enemies.

Gains Immunity while using this skill.

SKILL 2: Sea Anchor (Damage/Crowd Control)

Hurls anchor forward, damaging and slowing enemies.

If the anchor collides with terrain, he will be pulled to it, damaging and knocking back enemies.

Enhances the next Basic Attack to pull enemies.

SKILL 3: Ghost Ship (Damage/Crowd Control)

Ata builds temporary terrain along the outer border of a fan-shaped targetarea, dealing damage to enemies within it.

Gains crowd control immunity while using the skill.

He can use the skill again to make the temporary terrain disappear early.

Ata's skills revolve around damage, crowd control, and survivability, making him an excellent frontline tank. Here's an analysis of his abilities followed by four potential skill combos:

Best Skill Combos for Ata

Combo 1:

Skill 2 (Sea Anchor) ➜ Skill 1 (Wave Walking) ➜ Basic Attack ➜ Skill 3 (Ghost Ship)

  • Skill 2: Sea Anchor – Start by throwing the anchor towards terrain, pulling yourself to the enemy or escaping. This deals damage, slows enemies, and knocks them back. The movement gives you flexibility to initiate or chase.
  • Skill 1: Wave Walking – Immediately follow up with two slams, dealing damage twice. The second slam launches enemies into the air, controlling the battlefield while making you immune.
  • Basic Attack – Use the enhanced Basic Attack granted by Sea Anchor to pull enemies, adding crowd control and damage to the combo.
  • Skill 3: Ghost Ship – Finally, build temporary terrain with Ghost Ship to trap enemies within the fan-shaped area. This deals damage and can be used for zoning or blocking escapes.

Combo 2:

Skill 3 (Ghost Ship) ➜ Skill 1 (Wave Walking) ➜ Skill 2 (Sea Anchor) ➜ Basic Attack

  • Skill 3: Ghost Ship – Start by casting Ghost Ship to trap enemies within a specific area. This will deal damage and force them to remain in your zone of control, making it easier to follow up.
  • Skill 1: Wave Walking – Slam the ground twice, dealing AoE damage and launching enemies into the air with the second slam. Your immunity during this skill lets you dive deep into enemy lines without fear of being interrupted.
  • Skill 2: Sea Anchor – After Wave Walking, throw the anchor to either pull yourself toward an enemy or use the terrain to get close. This deals more damage and adds crowd control.
  • Basic Attack – Use your enhanced Basic Attack to pull enemies toward you, further locking them down.

Combo 3:

Skill 1 (Wave Walking) ➜ Skill 2 (Sea Anchor) ➜ Basic Attack ➜ Skill 3 (Ghost Ship)

  • Skill 1: Wave Walking – Open with Wave Walking to jump into a group of enemies, slamming twice to deal AoE damage and launching them into the air. This gives you a powerful initiation tool.
  • Skill 2: Sea Anchor – While the enemies are recovering from the launch, throw the anchor at terrain or enemies, pulling yourself into them for a follow-up knockback.
  • Basic Attack – Use the enhanced Basic Attack from Sea Anchor to pull enemies toward you, preventing their escape.
  • Skill 3: Ghost Ship – After pulling enemies in, trap them with Ghost Ship to limit their movement options and deal additional damage.

Combo 4:

Skill 2 (Sea Anchor) ➜ Basic Attack ➜ Skill 3 (Ghost Ship) ➜ Skill 1 (Wave Walking)

  • Skill 2: Sea Anchor – Begin by throwing your anchor at an enemy or terrain, pulling yourself toward them and applying the slow and knockback. This allows you to reposition quickly for follow-up attacks.
  • Basic Attack – Immediately use your enhanced Basic Attack to pull enemies in, setting them up for more damage.
  • Skill 3: Ghost Ship – After pulling them in, cast Ghost Ship to trap enemies within a defined area and deal damage. This prevents them from escaping and sets up the next move.
  • Skill 1: Wave Walking – Finish with Wave Walking to slam the ground twice, launching enemies into the air on the second hit. Use this to control the battlefield further and deal finishing damage, all while being immune.

Combo Insights:

  • Combo 1 is a balanced engage/disengage combo that uses Sea Anchor first for initiation and follows up with heavy crowd control and zoning with Ghost Ship.
  • Combo 2 is a strong area control combo, starting with Ghost Ship to trap enemies and following up with Wave Walking for strong AoE and crowd control.
  • Combo 3 opens with Wave Walking, maximizing AoE crowd control before pulling in enemies and trapping them with Ghost Ship.
  • Combo 4 focuses on quick repositioning using Sea Anchor first and follows up with zoning via Ghost Ship, creating space before delivering AoE crowd control with Wave Walking.

Each of these combos uses Ata's tankiness, crowd control, and damage to effectively disrupt enemy formations, support allies, and sustain himself in battle through his passive.
